Bye Bye Chucktown!

Aren't I slacking? I'm already in Amelia and the below pics happened yesterday! AHHHH!! I promise to get another one up tonight. But, top chef finale, my crappy christmas cards, and about 17 loads of laundry to do!

Anyway. I got some major quality time with Maranda while in SC. Isn't she smokin' hot?

Oh yeah - Marianne walked away from the computer. She was about to tell you that Leo liked to turn up the volume on the in house stereo system creating a spontaneous dance party - and while Leo did do this - Hayes started it - yep, that is right, Hayes started it. Surprise surprise!!!!

Reeder has the moves...you go girlio!
Of course, when the dance party ends every little girl needs a snuggle and Reeder picked her Papa Jerry.
As Marianne previously mentioned, this amazing house and 3 days in Charleston were the results of the extreme generosity of Maranda and Scott. So the kids decided that they needed to say thank you. Maranda accepted their thanks and then quickly bolted out the door...our group can be fun but it can also be nosiy and loud (ohh...I forgot to mention that Maranda was woken up by the aformentioned dance party so she was pretty tired by the afternoon).
Mr. Leo likes to love on everyone but he took an extra shine to Aunt Maranda.
Hayes has a slight fetish for shoes as you may have noticed from earlier pictures. He makes one hell of a princess (whether in slippers or sparkly ballet shoes) - and he his is trying his hand as a cowboy - a fuzzy cowboy that is....
Every once and a while I find it necessary to post a gratuitous beautiful picture of my niece. She is phenomenal, sweet, brilliant, and darn cute..
"The Hugger" saying his goodbye to Maranda.
Aunt Maranda is not our only family in Charleston - Aunt TT lives there as well. TT is rockin' out her life - waiting tables, mayor of Mixson (hehe) and realtor extraordinaire. Aunt TT is a man magnet - as you can plainly see.
Marianne's back. I guess the paragraphs of blogging really exhausts my sister. That's pretty obvious by smirvins.blogspotcom. Back to TT. She is also a chick magnet, which is why E and I have been bff's with her forever, and why she and E have matching tattoos.:)!
More friends to see! Clint's bff, Todd, lives here in Charleston, too! Last we saw them was just a mere two and a half years ago. But, back then, they were a married couple hanging out. Now, holy cow! They have two year old twin girls and a two week old boy. That house is quite different from the one I saw. Also, the house in all "girl", no toys for Hank just yet. Which means that Hayes got a chance to soften his masculine edges a little bit.
Hayes, Lila and Louisa! Are you kidding me? How stinkin'cute is this?
And, of course, Hayes had to give Hank some sugar! Gotta love the Garrett's-sorry I didn't get any pics of the adults.

Off to Amelia (but I guess you know I'm already here).

  1. Wow! What great pics! And of course the story is amazing. But I have to say Hayes looks quite "smitten" with those twins. Think he'd "dress up" if he got their attention.
Love it! Love it! Love it!
